The feeling of the ephemeral and the ethereal are common interests in the Japanese artist Tadanori Yamaguchi (Osaka, 1970) whose works analyze the sense of space and time in a permanent dialogue with the subject, that he represents through organic compositions giving as much importance to his own creative act (hatsuru) as to its formal result. In the last fifteen years he has won important awards and scholarships in both, painting and sculpture (Research Grant_Ministry of Foreign Affairs, AlNorte Scholarship, Antón Grant, Madrid Open Award, Barjola Scholarship, Luarca Contest …) and has worked with important international galleries becoming part of numerous public and private collections. Represented by Puxagallery since 2019, he has had two solo exhibitions at the gallery, in 2020 and 2023, offering an exchange of gazes where the brief is as forceful as the immutable.
