About the Furious

“About the furious” is the project that Mar Solís (Madrid, 1967 ) has developed for Artesantander 2019 International Art Fair, as a constant evolution of her previous exhibition in our gallery at the beginning of the year. Thus, she continues to explore the line, the space and its multiple fluctuations. Her beautiful compositions in linden wood, docile and achromatic, vibrate with expressive power and refinement, always pursuing organic and visceral terminations in search of the formal attraction/dispersion that can be found in her suggestive drawings on amate paper, impregnated of a calligraphic lightness full of oriental reminiscences where matter and light converge.
