Javier Victorero’s first solo exhibition in Puxagallery includes works painted during the last three years, which have proved to be very fruitful after the success of both, his anthology at the Museum of Fine Arts of Asturias last 2018, and the beautiful tribute to the Cantabrian Sea exhibited at the As Quintas Exhibition Center in La Caridad last summer. Harmonizing these recent series (“In the garden”, “Night blooming”, “The gardener’s dream”, “After the storm”, “Perpetual Lux” …) together with other new pieces, the artist claims the pure painting, the poetics of the contained silence, the chromatic musicality and the plastic qualities, without renouncing other spiritual depths that we will only perceive after the intimate, slow and direct contemplation of these works.
