Puxagallery opens its season with the exhibition “Rome Notebook” by Santi Lara (Tomelloso, 1975). The artist, who has been hightlighted within the last generation of artists selected by the Royal Spanish Academy in Rome, presents this singular and new project entirely accomplished during his stay in the Italian city.
With an excellent formal quality and an emotional symbolic background, the Spanish painter creates metaphors on the human condition alternating his apocalyptic visions with mythological resources. The exhibition includes a series of paintings in different formats accomplished in Rome since October 2016 till June 2017.
