Silentiaries and Chimeras  (November 18th - January 29th)

Santiago Serrano’s second solo exhibition at Puxagallery is the confirmation of the permanence of painting in the hands of this master with capital letters. The artist began this project at his workshop in Cuenca during the forced confinement due to the global sanitary crisis in 2020. Last summer, Serrano finalized  this new project which shows the essence of an author who today remains more intense and lucid than ever, between frames of multiple formats and metallic structures that overflow the orthogonality with exquisite chromatic nuances dominated by geometry, spirituality and light. Well-understood silence and constant creative illusions keep him in full activity among rhythms, gaps, memories, tensions and mysteries impeccably resolved.
