The works of Florencia de Titta are based on the reprogramming of images from history and the play with fragments inspired by everyday realities that often also incorporate other plastic suggestions that she treasures in her intimate memory, with a work philosophy based on the experimentation of new contexts. Painting, drawing or engraving are her most related media, always in a site-specific spirit, to explore traditional crafts, artisan production techniques, orality as a way of transmitting knowledge and shared experience as a means of learning. With a degree in Visual Arts from the Universidad Nacional de las Artes (Argentina) she later specialized in curatorship and design and has received, among others, the AlNorte (2020), Acart (2016) and Cacis (2015) grants, exhibiting individually at the Museo Barjola (Gijón, 2020) and participating since 2008 in several collective projects.
